12 hours refugee protest at parliament in Vienna!

On Tuesday, 24th of September 2013 there will be a 12 hours refugee protest in front of the parliament in Vienna. It starts at 10am in the morning till 10pm at night! The refugees say: "We need solutions for a safe stay!"

On 22nd of September 2013, refugees from Serviten monastery, joined by supporters, had gone again into Votiv church to raise their voice. Church authorities, instead of showing solidarity with people who are facing repression and deportation threat, called the police to remove people from church by force.

After this, the refugee activists are calling for concrete next steps for the struggle:

On Tuesday, 24th of September, from 10 in the morning till 10 at night, a day of refugee protest is taking place in front of the Austrian parliament. A press conference is taking place at 11am at the parliament.

Refugees are demanding from Austrian politicians and authorities: Give us a solution for a safe stay or erase our finger prints! Stop deporting us! We invite you to come together with us for a round table to search for a serious solution!

All refugees and solidary people are welcome to come and join! Help to bring matrasses, sitting facilities, blankets, banners, water and food!

Let's rise together! Refugees don't have a vote, but a voice!
