The VOICE Refugee Forum's Manifestation - "Do justice to Oury Jalloh" - Time of Rally: 09th of January 2012 at 9:30 in Magdeburg - Call to the First Court Hearing in the New Year with Rally in front of the Regional Court of Magdeburg.
The VOICE Refugee Forum for Independent Truth Commission - Against Police Brutality.
We still maintain our demands for the amendment of the indictment and charges to "aid to bodily injury and complicity in Murder, by all officers on duty on the 7th of January 2005 in Dessau police station. The criminal proceedings should be conducted under the appointment of an independent body of international observers.
Close to seven years after Oury Jalloh's bestial death in cell No. 5 in Dessau there is still no justice insight. We continue to say: Oury Jalloh - That was murder!
and We demand for: Truth! Justice! Reparation!
The VOICE Refugee Forum is calling on every couragious activist and all community initiatives to act, be it the citizens and non citizens to join us in support and in solidarity with the struggle of the oppressed refugees and migrants in Germany to mobilize and organize against the German racist institutions that continue to terrorize, traumatize and stigmatize the refugees and migrants by their policies of exclusion ....
We call on all to continue the protest as long as it takes by every means possible to uncover the injustice of the state, the institutional racism in court and in the impunity of dessau police authority on the murder of Oury Jalloh who was burnt to death in Police cell of Dessau on the 7th of January 2005.
Despite, and perhaps because we do not expect any justice from the new trial, it must also be critically observed by an independent group of legal practitioners, human rights activists and affected persons. This Observation of the process is not to be understood as a legitimization of the cover-up done by the court but as a delegation to document the trial and its results.
The cases of Oury Jalloh and :: Laye Alama Condé, are merely two cases that did not get justice in their judicial proceedings, but they are only a part of many cases of police brutality which ended with death; :: N'deye Mareame Sarr, :: Halim Dener, :: John Achidi, :: Zdravko Nikolov Dimitrov, :: Aamir Ageeb, :: Arumugasamy Subramaniam, :: Dominique Koumadio and many others are victims of the German police and its racist impunity. Their cases were not even brought to in front of a court.
"We have followed both cases very critically and are still demanding truth, justice and compensation for the families of Oury Jalloh and Laye Alama Condé. Just like the case of Laye Alama Condé that did not see justice in the German courts, we know that the same fate awaits the case of Oury Jalloh. They were both killed by the German police and their doctors on the same day, the 7th of January 2005".
We protest against the instigated intimidation by the judges and the violence by the police against the activists involved in the Oury-Jalloh-Campaign and the observation of the court trial in Magdeburg .
Be part of the revolution now! Organize and mobilize to Support the struggles of the oppressed from the stomach of the monsters in Germany and Europe!
Break Isolation of the Refugees and Migrants Struggles!
Do Justice to Oury Jalloh!
