Action Days against Deportation in Vienna

Every day, peoples' lives are destroyed by deportation. The present asylum law and the usual administrative practices make it almost impossible for people who have fled persecution, after years of traumatic experiences, to be finally recognised as refugees in Austria. Almost 2/3 of all asylum aplications are being rejected.

We resist against our relatives, colleagues and friends being deported!

Every deportation destroys the live and the future of a human being, every deportation tears people apart from each other!

We demand:

The right to stay for our friends, daddies, mommies, colleagues and partners
The right to work for asylum seekers
Full social, political and judicial equality in the society and on the job market

10.00 am: press conference (Cafe Eiles, 8., Josefstädterstr. 2)

19.00 pm: podium discussion "families and friends against unjust migration laws" (with Zoraida Nieto, Clifford Erinmwionghae, Nikolaus Kunrath, Peter Marhold and others),
afro-asian institute / reading room, 1st floor, Türkenstraße 3, 1090 Wien

Thursday, 27th of September 2012

16.00 pm: Demo against deportation from Marcus Omofuma memorial to the austrian parliament
18.00 pm: rally in front of the parliament

Friday, 28th of September 2012

17.00 pm: workshop "How to stop a deportation?"
at "Club der Freunde", Gudrunstraße 135, 1100 Wien (metro U1 Keplerplatz)

20.00 pm: "Come to stay" – solidarity party with DJ Taff, TOPOKE of "Tres Monos", Laura Rafetseder & Mosa Sisic
