Following report by Bordermonitoring Bulgaria summaries critics on facilities for asylum seekers in Bulgaria. The country want to worsen the situation of the people forced to live there. The open centers in Pastrogor will probably turn into a closed camp soon. In Harmanli, a new closed area was created.

On 07. Aug 2018 the trial against the Harmanli 21 has finally started. The encarcerated and trialled migrants are almost alone against the machinery of the state and the Fortress Europe. All actions of solidarity are of great importance now!

On the 5th of June 2018 the trial against the Harmanli 21 was postponed again. As last time, 10 of the 21 accused migrants were present. The hearing started with people in attendance to support the migrants.

Border- monitoring's report on Bulgaria, published in July 2014. At the end of august, one of the central actions of the nobordercamp in bulgaria took place at the nearby detention centre in ljubimetz.

This is the first of some articles by a3yo. It talkes about the background of protests without inwolvement by local people and the participation of many german speeking activists at the noborder camp in Siva Reka.

Nearly 300 people from around the world outside at showed solidarity with inmates at a demonstration in front of the detention center in city of Liubimetz, in south-eastern Bulgaria on 29th of August 2011.

Im Zuge des Noborder Camps in Siva Reka fand am 29. August 2011 eine Demonstration vor dem Abschiebe- gefängnis in Lyubimetz statt. Die eingesperrten Leute waren sehr erfreut darüber.

Am Donnerstag, 25. August 2011 war der offizielle Beginn des Noborder Camps in Siva Reka, zu dem hunderte Leute aus unterschiedlichen Richtungen angereist sind. Am Freitag gab es die erste Demonstration in der Grenzstadt Svilengrad.

Ein Grenzzaun und die Inhaftierung von AsylwerberInnen sollen die EU beruhigen.

In Bulgarien stellen jährlich ca. 1.000 Menschen einen Asylantrag. Ihre Situation ist selbst nach der Anerkennung eines Flüchtlingsstatus miserabel. Viele Flüchtlinge werden oft mehrere Jahre in Lagern interniert. Durch den geplanten Schengenbeitritt sind weitere restriktive Maßnahmen zur erwarten.

In Bulgarien gibt es mehrere Einrichtungen zur Internierung von Migrant_innen. Die Haftdauer ist entsprechend der EU-Rückführungs- richtlinie auf 18 Moante beschränkt, im Durchschnitt beträgt sie 14 Monate.

Ende August 2011 findet im Drei- Ländereck Bulgarien - Türkei - Griechenland ein Noborder Camp statt. Zur Vorbereitung, um Informationen auszutauschen und schon mal gemeinsam zu feiern findet am Di, 12. Juli 2011 ein Noborder Soli in der I:DA, Zwölfergasse 9, 1150 Wien statt.

On August 25, 2005 the three day noborder camp in Klutsch, Bulgaria, finished with a collective border crossing to Greece. Thereby long delays happened because of the Bulgarian border police, who searched 2 cars for hours. One day after the greek part of the "Noborder Action Days" started with an antirascist demonstration in Xanthi.

Am 25. August 2005 ging ging das dreitägige Grenzcamp im bulgarischen Klutsch mit einer gemeinsamen Grenzüberquerung nach Griechenland zu Ende. Dabei kam es zu langen Verzögerungen durch die bulgarische Grenzpolizei, die zwei Autos stundenlang durchsuchte. Einen Tag später fand als Auftakt des griechischen Teils der noborder-action-days eine antirassistische Demonstration in Xanthi statt.

Vom 22. bis 25. August in Bulgarien und vom 25. bis zum 28. in Griechenland werden verschiedene Aktionen zum Thema "Keine Grenzen" stattfinden.
